Dunno if it matters, but if the script doesn't enable, you'll have a guess why. The reason I am pointing it out is because you'll rebuild Morrowind.exe during MGSO installation at some point. Installed these improvements in this order: The game I made it for is not the vanilla Steam version. You might want to start with tweaking the defaults though. It ruins most of the character building with the default settings, but casual players that are after questing and the story will surely like it. At to that the fact that Morrowind doesn't support modern hardware specs like multi-core CPUs, and you've got sluggish performance.Wanted to play it but it seems that my kids scratched my disks in the closet so I had to buy it on Steam. Eastern parts of Vvardenfel are rendered much faster.Įdit: Keep in mind that normally, the game doesn't support the vfx MGE XE provides. Balmora and Vivec are especially problematic, since they're the biggest cities. Also, anything that add NPCs (Tamriel Rebuilt, Morrowind Comes Alive, Starfire's NPC additions, Children of Morrowind) will steal from fps because of the running scripts. Maybe when OpenMW comes out, we'll have the same features with much more performance. I get 12-30 fps in outside cells, 30 fps in indoors.I don't think it's possible to run MGE XE with 60 fps.

However, distant lands minimum statics is much lower, 60 (because Ebonheart's towers look floating above water otherwise). Distant Lands is lowered from 20 to 12 cells and grass generation is at %80.
